Paardekrachten en Prosecco’s

Beste dames,

Trek iets aan dat “casual chic maar wel comfortabel genoeg om twee keer te klagen” schreeuwt, want we gaan cultuur snuiven. Ja. Echt.

📍 DAF Museum, Eindhoven

🕒 15:00 uur verzamelen bij de Daffetaria (want niets zegt hoogstaande cultuur als koffie naast industriële nostalgie)

🕞 15:30 uur start rondleiding, waarbij een vrijwilliger met headset ons vertelt waarom een differentieel spannend is en waarom DAF “vroeger écht wat betekende”. Knikkend ja zeggen volstaat.

Daarna, om 17:00 uur, rijden we onze innerlijke diesel naar een hoger octaangehalte bij Indian Tapas.

Kleine gerechtjes, grote meningen, collectieve verwarring over wat nou mild is en wat niet. Heerlijk eten, strategisch delen en minimaal één iemand die zegt: “Zullen we gewoon alles bestellen?”

Maar wees gerust: we zijn dan nog lang niet op bedrijfstemperatuur.

Na dit culinaire spektakel dieselen we door naar Las Salinas, waar we met een bubble in de hand op 2026 klinken, terwijl 2025 nog niet eens weet wat ’m overkomt. Verwacht: gezelligheid, overdreven levensplannen, harde meningen over zachte bubbels en minstens één existentiële crisis vóór 21:00 uur.

Kortom:

✔ Eten (met meningen)

✔ Alcohol (met toekomstvisie)

Mis het niet. Want dit is zo’n avond waar je achteraf over zegt:

“Het was eigenlijk heel leuk, terwijl ik dat totaal niet had verwacht.”

put on something that screams “casual chic but comfortable enough to complain twice,” because we’re going to soak up some culture. Yes. Really.

🕒 3:00 PM, meet at the Daffetaria (because nothing says high culture like coffee next to industrial nostalgia)

🕞 3:30 PM, tour starts, where a volunteer with a headset tells us why a differential is exciting and why DAF “really meant something back in the day.” A nod of approval is enough.

Then, at 5:00 PM, we’ll rev our inner diesel to a higher octane level at Indian Tapas.

Small dishes, big opinions, collective confusion about what’s mild and what’s not. Delicious food, strategic sharing, and at least one person will say, “Shall we just order everything?”

After this culinary spectacle, we’ll be steaming on to Las Salinas, where we’ll toast to 2026 with a bubbly in hand, while 2025 doesn’t even know what’s happening yet. Expect: conviviality, exaggerated life plans, strong opinions about soft bubbly, and at least one existential crisis before 9 PM.
