Start 2023 met TG040

Op zaterdag 7 januari is iedereen weer welkom op onze nieuwjaarsreceptie met sprankelende bubbels en lekker eten…

We wensen iedereen een gezond en voorspoedig 2023. Dat kan met dit berichtje, maar het is natuurlijk veel leuker als je naar onze bijeenkomst komt.

De zaal gaat open om 20:00 uur en om 21:00 uur heffen we het glas om op het nieuwe jaar te proosten (met of zonder alcohol). Daarna opent het buffet, dus kom niet te laat!

Vorig jaar kon onze nieuwjaarsreceptie niet doorgaan vanwege de lockdown, dus misschien zijn jullie het vergeten maar januari is altijd één van de drukste T&T-avonden bij TG040.

Hopelijk tot ziens dus, op zaterdag 7 januari in gemeenschapshuis Genderdal. Voor de avond hoef je je niet aan te melden, kom gewoon vanaf 20:00 uur naar de Boccerinilaan 6 in Eindhoven.

Middagactiviteit

Nieuwjaarsduik? Ja en nee… De middagactiviteit vindt plaats in het subtropisch zwembad Dommelslag in Pelt (van Eindhoven gezien een stukje recht naar beneden).

Badderen kan heerlijk ontspannend zijn, dus we nemen er deze keer lekker de tijd voor: vanaf 13:30 het nat in tot 17:00. Het is een transvriendelijk bad dus ben niet bang om jezelf eens in een kleurrijk badpak te steken. Als je niet wilt zwemmen, maar wel mee wilt supporteren: dat kan in hun aangrenzende toeschouwersbar.
Tip: het is natuurlijk een zwembad dus er zit zeker en vast wat chloor in het water. Hou daar rekening mee in verband met je haarwerk.

Na het natte gedeelte komt het eetgedeelte en rijden we een stukje terug naar Eindhoven om rond 17:30 in eetcafé De Hutten te Lommel (Luikersteenweg 626) te gaan eten. Van deze nog-net buitenlandse versnapering rijden we door omhoog naar de altijd weer gezellige contactavond, waar we netjes op tijd aansluiten voor de nieuwjaarsdronk en het buffet.

Ga je mee? Als je mee wilt eten moet je het tijdig laten weten i.v.m. reserveren.
Wellicht vind je het fijn / gezellig om te carpoolen. Spreek elkaar gerust aan; bied je rit aan of vraag of je mee kunt rijden.

Start 2023 with TG040

On Saturday January 7th everybody is welcome again at our New Year’s Reception with sparkling bubbles and good food…

We wish you all a healthy and prosperous 2023. We do that in this message, but of course it is much more enjoyable if you come to our January meeting.

The doors will open at 8PM and at nine o’clock we will toast to the new year (with or without alcohol). The buffet will open immediately after that, so don’t be late!

Last year the New Year’s Reception was cancelled due to the lockdown, so maybe you forgot, but January is usually one of the most busy meetings at TG040.

So we hope to see you then, on Saturday January 7th at Gemeenschapshuis Genderdal. A reservation for the evening is not necessary, just come and join us, starting 20:00, on the Boccerinilaan 6 in Eindhoven.

Afternoon activity

A New Year’s dive? Well, sort of… The afternoon activity will take place in subtropical swimming pool Dommelslag in Pelt, Belgium (seen from Eindhoven straight down on the map).

Bathing can be wonderfully relaxing, so we are taking plenty of time for it: from 13:30 until 17:00. It is a transfriendly pool, so don’t be afraid to show off your colorfull bathing suit. If you don’t want to swim, but just want to cheer for us: that is possible in the adjacent bar for spectators.
Tip: it IS a swimming pool, of course, so the water will be somewhat chlorinated. Keep that in your mind in connection with your hair or wig.

After the wet episode, we will be going North for dinner at 17:30 in eetcafé De Hutten in Lommel (Luikersteenweg 626). And after that only-just-foreign feast, we go further north to our always cozy contact evening, where we will arrive in time for New Year’s toast and buffet.
