Spring in het diepe / Take the plunge
Wie springt er in het diepe en komt deze maand voor het eerst naar een T&T-avond? Iedere maand zijn er bezoekers die voor het eerst komen. De vaste bezoekers zijn misschien wel vergeten hoe spannend het de eerste keer was. Wij merken altijd weer hoe nuttig het is om nieuwelingen op te vangen en wegwijs te maken. Voor de vaste klanten is het gewoon een leuk feestje, voor de nieuwelingen een grote stap in hun leven en hun coming-out.
Om op deze manier te kunnen doorgaan, is het wel belangrijk dat ook die vaste gasten regelmatig blijven komen. We moeten tenslotte financieel het hoofd boven water houden, ook in deze onzekere tijd. Je komt dus niet alleen voor je eigen plezier, maar ook om de mensen te helpen die “na” jou komen.
Kom je alleen ‘s avonds, dan hoef je je niet van te voren aan te melden. We zijn op 3 februari open van 20:00 tot 01:00 uur voor een gewone, ouderwetse T&T-avond met kleedruimte, mediatheek, welkomstpraatje, driehoekjes en een asbak onder de luifel bij de ingang. Je vindt ons in Gemeenschapshuis Genderdal, Boccherinilaan 6, 5653 HE Eindhoven.
Februari is een heel geschikte maand om eens te komen kijken, als je dat eerder niet durfde.
Take the plunge
Who will take the plunge this month and come to a T&T evening for the first time? Every month there are first-time visitors. Most of our regular guests may have forgotten how exciting it was the first time. We always notice how useful it is to welcome newcomers and show them around. To us it is just a fun party, for the newcomers it is a big step in their lives and their coming out.
In order to continue this way, it is important that regular guests continue to come frequently. After all, we have to pay attention to the bottom line, especially in these uncertain times. So you not only come for your own pleasure, but also to help the people who come “after” you.
If you only come in the evening, you do not need to register in advance. We are open on February 3rd from 8:00 PM to 1:00 AM for a regular, old-fashioned T&T evening with a changing room, media library, welcome talk, triangles and an ashtray under the awning at the entrance. February is a good month to come and have a look, if you didn’t dare to do so before.
