Smullen bij Angela

Bij onze middagactiviteit begin augustus zijn we warm onthaald en heerlijk culinair verwend bij Angela en Annelies! De weergoden hadden gedreigd met slecht weer als we het in ons hoofd zouden halen om spelletjes te spelen… Dit hebben we wijselijk dus ook niet gedaan! Dit keer waren ook Jannie en Annemiek erbij, hetgeen door planning (voor zover ik weet) nog nooit eerder gelukt was… Voor herhaling vatbaar!

Onverwacht is er ook een Amsterdamse Tarotkaartenlegster aan komen waaien. Zij heeft heel behulpzaam een aantal dames de weg gewezen naar hun mooie toekomst. Grappig was dat zij een nuchtere, brutale roze aap bij zich had. Die recht-voor-zijn-raap lompe maar af en toe ook rake opmerkingen maakte.

De barbecue was voortreffelijk verzorgd, mede dankzij familiaire ondersteuning! Nadat we onze mondhoeken hadden afgelikt en lippen wat hebben bij gestift zijn we afgezakt naar Genderdal. Daar was onze maandelijkse contactavond, waar we weer veel Serieus Gepraat en ook zeker gelachen hebben!

A feast at Angela’s

At our August afternoon activity, we were warmly welcomed and culinary spoiled by Angela en Annelies! The weather gods had threatened us with rain if we would be so impertinent to go playing games, so we wisely avoided that! This time Jannie and Annemiek were also with us, which had never happened before due to their busy schedule… We would love it if they could join us more often!

We had an unexpected visit by a Tarot reading lady from Amsterdam. She was so kind to direct some of the ladies to their beautiful future. She also brought along a rude, pink monkey who bluntly interfered with the conversation, sometimes with brilliant to-the-point comments.

The barbecue was excellent, and the family helped to make it a success! After wiping our mouths and touching up our lipstick we headed back to Genderdal. And there we had our monthly get-together, with a lot of Serious Conversation but also some good laughs!
